Loretta A. Druen, Owner and Artistic Director of Rocky Mount Dance Academy studied in Alexandria, Va. while in high school and later went to New York City at Luigi's Jazz Center and  the New York School of Ballet. Ms. Druen  relocated to North Carolina where she earned her BFA in  Theatre Arts with a concentration in Dance/Choreography from East Carolina University. She continues to attend workshops with Dance Makers of America, Dance Troupe Inc., and LA Dance Force.

	Jeannie Billodeau, Rocky Mount Dance Academy's Ballet Director, is originally from New Hampshire.  Ms. Billodeau began her studies as a teenager at the Ballet Arts Academy under the direction of Lucinda Lee--who trained with the Boston Repertoire and then studied classical Russian technique with Dianne Demarkov.
Training extensively at Ayden School of Dance, Raleigh School of Ballet, Arts Together and Meredith College where she added modern dance to her repertoire. Ms. Billodeau is currently taking classes at The Raleigh School of Ballet, where several of her students have auditioned and been accepted.
